Agitators
Impellers

Dissolver Discs
- Very high local shear forces
- Dispersion of solids
- For low-viscosity to high-viscosity applications

Propeller stirrer
- Gentle product flow from top to bottom (axial)
- Low shear possible, little product stress

Anchor
- Agitator close to the wall, good heat transfer from the tank wall into the product
- For high-viscosity media
- With and without wall and bottom scrapers
- Special anchor shapes with additional product flow possible

Butterfly
- Increase of the gas retention time in the product
- Axial flow direction downwards
- High pump volume flow with low product damage

U-Z
- Gentle product flow
- For simple mixing tasks, keeping the product homogeneous
- Adapts to the tank bottom to mix small residual quantities

Disc Stirrers
- Dipersion of gas bubbles
- Radial flow direction
- High power input
- Enables high mass transfer rates

Elephant Ear
- Very gentle axial flow – possible both upwards and downwards
- Gentle mixing action for cell cultures

Pitched-Blade Turbine
- Axial direction of flow downwards
- Installation position: from above
- Good power input into the fluid with large tank volumes
- Single-stage mixing system (near bottom)

Trapezoid Stirrer
- Efficient power input into the fluid with large tank volumes
- Mainly axial flow direction downwards
- Multi-stage stirring system (2-5 stages)

Spiral Anchor
- Agitator close to the wall, good heat transfer from the container wall into the product
- For high-viscous products
- With and without wall and bottom scapers

Hollow-Blade
- Lower power input due to optimised mass transfer at reduced resistance
- High mixing performance and high gas throughputs
- High mass transfer coefficients

Segment Impeller
- Very gentle axial flow – possible both upwards and downwards
- Gentle mixing action for cell cultures
- Lower power requirement than elephant ear
- Optimised cleanability compared to elephant ear
