Our magnetic agitators for side entry are characterised by a reliable hygienic design combined with impressive performance and maximum robustness. They are used all over the world, particularly in the production of high-quality, sterile food.

With just one side-mounted magnetic agitator from PRG, the contents of aseptic juice storage tanks with volumes of up to 7 million litres can be circulated – even during long-term storage and under the most difficult conditions, such as when transporting the product by sea.

Long-term storage of products in tanks is made possible by a uniform energy input, calculated precisely using computational fluid dynamics (CFD analysis). In particular, our magnetic agitators for side entry benefit from this analysis because the flow conditions in the tank can be precisely simulated and matched to the respective process parameters. This maximises the efficiency of the stirring process and ensures even mixing, even in large volumes and with challenging media. This is complemented by the use of the highest quality materials and the greatest care in the production of the agitator – quality features which numerous well-known customers in the food industry rely on.

We follow the standards of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) in the design of our side entry magnetic agitators. In addition, all elastomers used are certified according to FDA and EU Regulation 1935/2004. PRG magnetic agitators are characterised by their ease of maintenance and long service life, and they allow for uncomplicated CIP and SIP cleaning.
