The Gearbox Agitator with an U-Impeller is a specially-developed agitator design that has been optimised for highly efficient and gentle mixing processes in the food and new food industry. The compact design of the U-Impeller agitator series in the tank bottom is impressive with a small installation height below the tank.

The U-impeller ensures homogeneous distribution with minimal shear stress. This guarantees gentle processing of sensitive media without affecting their structure. At the same time, the U-impeller supports efficient emptying in pass-through operation, as even the smallest residual volumes can be gently and efficiently mixed.

This combination of space-saving installation, optimised hydrodynamics, mixing of small quantities and easy cleaning makes the U-Impeller the ideal solution for hygienically demanding applications and processes which require consistent mixing quality.
